Daddy was out of town for part of the week on business. So we decided to make the most of it and try to have some fun days, even though the kids were missing him. Tonight was make-your-own-pizza night. It’s perfect since the kids have such different ideas in what pizza should taste like! I asked Hannah if she’d like pepperoni or green pepper, onion or mushroom, ham perhaps? Nope, just cheese. Like usual.
I asked Max and he said initially he wanted pepperoni and mushroom, yep, that’s my man! So he starts to put the pepperoni and mushrooms on and he popped a mushroom in his mouth while assembling his part of the pizza and that thing came flying out. “I don’t think I yike mushrooms!” It was pretty funny. At least he tried it!
It was a pretty fun night! They gobbled up their pizzas in front of the tv while we had movie night. It didn’t hold a stone to having daddy home to tuck them in at night, but it was a nice little second place night.
